Art Inspiration: Going with the Flow

Hello My Fellow Art Lovers-

"Out of perfection nothing can be made.  Every process involves breaking something out.  The earth must be broken to bring forth life."
-Joseph Campbell

Big changes!

Here is the cute little house I will be staying near the coast in North Carolina for at least a few months.  I'm thankful to have a roof over my head while I figure out my next move!

This is the view of the ocean less than a mile away.

Like the constantly moving sea, everything is always morphing whether we like it or not.  That is life.  Life is messy.

Some of us are ready to move, while others aren't!

Take a look at this whale vertebrate my parents found on the beach .... it was designed for graceful movement, to roll with the fluidity of the ocean.

That is what I am aspiring to at the moment.  To go with the flow with laughter.

"We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."
-Joseph Campbell

BUT we can plan some things right?!  We just have to recognize what we actually have control over and let the rest go.

Victoria and I are currently planning our Upcoming Retreat!  Join us for a weekend of spiritual exploration and fellowship. Together we will gather for sacred circle meditations, yoga, and art making. We will create symbolic mixed media pieces to honor our sacred path and connect with each other. Prepare for a surprising blend of activities intended to build our community and ignite our inner flames.

$550 Weekend long retreat includes six meals and two nights lodging.

Sign up now!  Spots are limited. The first 20 registrants will receive a Welcome Bag full of secret surprises.

As I prepare to move it is comforting to know that I will be in Indiana for the retreat AND we hope to make it an annual event.  I'd love to be able to stay in touch with you all.

Studio for Sale:

The studio and the house next door will be for sale soon. I'd love to hand it off to someone who will love the garden and be able to use this space in a creative way. If you or anyone you know is on the lookout for a unique house let me know.
