Gladiolas for a Friend

A friend of my asked me to create a painting of her favorite flower, Gladiolas.
Oh this most difficult and unusual flower!  Here are three attempts I have made at it... I think I like the last one the best.

    God job - they are difficult flowers to paint. I like the first one shown best - the red, white and green work well together

      Thanks- I'm still not sure which my favorite is. I plan on writing to my friend who commissioned it and letting her choose!
