Saturday Afternoon at the Indiana Fiddler's Gathering Copyright 2014 Addie Hirschten Oil on Canvas 16" x 20" Prints available on Fine Art America |
Every year I attend the Indiana Fiddler's Gathering. It is an amazing couple of days where my friends and I camp out and play old-time music 24-7. At the entrance to the festival they always string bright white lights from the trees. Imagine the music drifting through the air. A few hours after I painted this the fireflies came out. Sigh... next year's festival seems too far away.
Without music, life would be a mistake.
