30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge: Day 1

So today is day 1 of fellow artist Leslie Saeta's "30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge."  I am going to attempt (cough, cough) to do 1 painting per day for the next 30 days. I have a feeling that I am going to focus on flowers for this, but maybe not.  We will see where the muse takes me.

There are always flowers for those who want to see them.

      Thanks! I am hoping I can sustain... am currently imagining myself as the tortoise from the tortoise and the hare. :)
