Back in my abstract college painting days, I depicted the sound of music with color and shape often.
I have always envisioned harp notes as golden.
The piano is blue.
Drums are green (well, sometimes black.)
And my instrument, the fiddle, is red.
Time has laid his hand

Addie: yes, in my mind, I tend to assign colors to some things, abstract things, esp numbers. 1 is white, 2 is green, 3 is yellow, 4 is blue, 5 is pink, 6 is red, 7 is purple, 8 is blue, 9 is brown, 10 is black, 11 is white. You may identify the harpist as myself, if you wish. It is I!

DeleteYeah- I had never thought of numbers having color value. I do put color on musical scales for example G Major (the People's Key) is brown, so on and so forth. :)
